>>># 13/9/23 Poem of Death Revisited

I was reminiscing about my journey since I took up the oath three years ago.  A lot has happened since then.  While some things are moving ahead, some remain the same...

24/12/21  Poem of Death

What a wonderful life this is

Right from birth, I was chosen

To [] (serve) my Lord and no other

Out of many, I am the one

I savored my life as if it is the sweetest nectar

Oh man, the women, they are simply amazing

Alas, the top of my worldly delight is long-distance running

As long as I can still run, I am in heaven

Everything is nice, but Death is my final arbiter

The one that separates me from a caterpillar to a butterfly

The one that determines if I am an illusion or the magician

The deciding factor whether I am a mere mortal or a Great God

I have to know, whether I am the real deal or just a fluke

I need to find out for sure who is the Greatest Showman

So that I as the Ayah to All Matters can say to my children

"See? It's Allah and All Allah all along."
